This modern building is the home of the new Design Museum of Barcelona www.museudeldisseny.cat<\/a>.<\/span> Inaugurated in 2012, its auditorium will host the main working sessions and exhibitions of the 47th Congress of the Academy. Located in Pla\u00e7a de les Gl\u00f2ries, next to the Torre Agbar (Jean Nouvel architect) and the new site of the Encants flea market, the Design Museum of Barcelona integrates the collections of the Museum of Decorative Arts, the Museum of Ceramics, the Textile and Clothing Museum and the Cabinet of Graphic Arts. The museum opened its doors to the public in late 2014.<\/p>\r\n

The auditorium of Design Hub Barcelona has a capacity of more than 300 people and features all the technology that a modern facility of this type can have, including projection and audio systems, and simultaneous translation booths. In addition, the first rows of seats are equipped with connections for computers. Its foyer can be used for coffee breaks in addition to serving as a space for small-scale presentations.<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n

The exhibition halls on the building's lower floors will house three of the Congress' main shows: the AIC member exhibition, a major exhibition on ceramics in architecture in the Mediterranean area and the exhibition by Cer\u00e0mica Cumella.<\/p>\r\n

Le Disseny Hub Barcelona (Dhub) est le si\u00e8ge du nouveau Mus\u00e9e du Design de Barcelone. Inaugur\u00e9 en 2012, il accueillera dans son auditorium les principales sessions de travail du 47e<\/sup> Congr\u00e8s de l\u2019AIC. Situ\u00e9 Plaza de las Glorias, pr\u00e8s de la Tour Agbar (\u0153uvre de l\u2019architecte Jean Nouvel) et du nouveau march\u00e9 des Encants, il est desservi par la station de m\u00e9tro Glories, face au b\u00e2timent.<\/p>\r\n

Le nouveau Mus\u00e9e du Design de Barcelone<\/a> est n\u00e9 de l\u2019int\u00e9gration des collections du Mus\u00e9e des Arts D\u00e9coratifs, du Mus\u00e9e de la C\u00e9ramique, du Mus\u00e9e du Textile et des V\u00eatements et du Cabinet des Arts Graphiques. Le Disseny Hub est aussi le si\u00e8ge du Centre pour la Promotion des Arts et du Design (FAD) et du Centre de Design de Barcelone (BCD), deux institutions \u00e0 la pointe de la promotion et du d\u00e9veloppement du design en Catalogne.<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n

El Disseny Hub Barcelona (Dhub)<\/a> es la sede del nuevo Museo del Dise\u00f1o de Barcelona. Situado en la Pla\u00e7a de les Gl\u00f2ries, junto a la Torre Agbar (obra del arquitecto Jean Nouvel) y del nuevo emplazamiento del mercado de los Encants, est\u00e1 muy bien comunicado, ya que tiene una parada de metro (Gl\u00f2ries) enfrente mismo del edificio.<\/p>\r\n

El nuevo Museo del Dise\u00f1o de Barcelona (http:\/\/www.museudeldisseny.cat <\/a>) se origina a partir de la integraci\u00f3n de las colecciones del Museo de las Artes Decorativas, el Museo de Cer\u00e1mica, el Museo Textil y de Indumentaria y el Gabinete de las Artes Gr\u00e1ficas. El Disseny Hub es tambi\u00e9n la sede del Fomento de las Artes y del Dise\u00f1o (FAD) y del Barcelona Centro de Dise\u00f1o (BCD), dos instituciones pioneras en la promoci\u00f3n y el desarrollo del dise\u00f1o en Catalunya.<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n

Las salas de exposiciones albergar\u00e1n tres de las principales exposiciones del Congreso:<\/p>\r\n
