Carmen Riu studied Philosophy at the University of Barcelona (1976-81) and Ceramics at Escola Massana (1976- 81) in Barcelona. She was awarded a Ph.D in Philosophy (Aesthetics, 1990) and studied Art History at University of Barcelona (1983-88).
As a researcher, she has published numerous contributions and articles in the field of contemporary ceramics (Butlleti informatiu de ceramica, Revistart,\u00a0Publicaci\u00f3 de l\u2019ACC,\u00a0Ceramica,\u00a0Terrart, among others) and medieval artisanal works. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Beyond her practice as curator of collective and solo exhibitions, she teaches ceramics technology and decoration.<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n
