PROGRAM

The 47th IAC General Assembly and Congress – IAC Barcelona 2016 will be held in the Design Hub Barcelona from 12 to 16 September 2016. This contemporary building is the home of the new Design Museum of Barcelona. Inaugurated in 2012, its auditorium will host the main lectures and its rooms will show three of the most important exhibitions, including the Members Exhibition, of this IAC event. In order to create a varied and rich program the organizers proposed this year to structure it in three time sections:

  • The mornings will be animated with panel talks, debates and discussions around the main theme of the meeting: “Ceramics in Public Architecture and Public Spaces”.
  • Lunch and free time between 13:00 and 15:00, except Monday.
  • The afternoons will be filled with visits to places of ceramic significance (buildings, exhibitions, etc.)
  • The evenings will be highlighted through special events and dinners in selected exquisite Barcelona settings.
